High quality A21 pressure gauge is specially designed to meet the requirements of process industry. The safety pressure gauge is mainly used in chemical and petrochemical industry, oil and gas industry, electric power engineering and water/wastewater technology. Typical measuring points are located on the control unit and control panel, such as the hydraulic power unit (HPU). In order to install the instrument safely, a high-quality front baffle is used. The installation mainly requires IP66 protection grade. Therefore, the A21 type and the panel are sealed with an all welded mounting ring and a matching flat washer. Pressure gauges for process industries are made entirely of stainless steel to improve corrosion resistance. This can be used to measure aggression. Gaseous or liquid media are also suitable for corrosive environments. Safety version is defined in EN837-1 standard of pressure gauge. For most applications, a secure version is not required. This design includes an additional pressure relief port that allows any impermissible overpressure in the case to be discharged through the back of the case (e.g. from a burst Bourdon tube). For severe operating conditions such as vibration, these instruments also offer an optional liquid fill.
